Water level too low to measure on AHD gauge

NOTE - mouth state was not recorded on the sheet. i beleive given the height of the AHD gauge it would be closed.

Mouth has been closed for the last 2 months. Observed some 'oily' type substance in the river water closest to the ocean (probably blown down that way) - took photo and uploaded, wasnt a large amount and may be of natural occurance.

*NOTE* Forgot to get a reading at AHD gauge. also didnt bring the gear along to measure berm height (wheel, measuring pole) as i wasnt expecting the mouth to be closed.

Monitoring assisted by Ashleigh (new member, not in database) Kayleigh and Toby.

seaweed evidence of ingress of sea at high tide so tidal influence ticked

Sorry, forgot to check the water level gauge on the way out so ive left the start observation out.

• apologies I forgot to do the water level measurements and only remembered when i was leaving.
• there was water on the the gauge this time however the bottom of the gauge is quite grimy and it would have been more of a guess as to what the water height was, i did give it a bit of a rub with my hand and its quite stuck on so im not sure exactly what we can clean it with.

• Gauge board was out of water so unable to record water level AHD.

• Gauge board was out of water so you couldn't record AHD water level.
