There were two men fishing off the pontoon using rope with big hooks, dragging lots of items from the bottom of the river bed.  

Thanks for the report; very strange, and nothing that i've seen before.  I have seen people searching for old bottles, but not scrap metal.

Possible dissolved oxygen issue with YSI meter.  Please check

Thanks guys - D.O. readings are high, but quite likely correct due to algae presence producing excess oxygen.  This is quite typical at this time of year due to extended sunlight and warming summer conditons.  Thanks for noticing the high level though - Jarred.
