Notes:
Lost lead weight off Van Dorn after we dropped the foam spool into the river. The string wasn't tied to the foam spool. Despite our pleas Dave Wingfield refused to dive down to get it. We were unable to do the bottom reading without the weight.
Very high readings for D.O. and the salinity readings were higher than usual in the water closer to the surface although fairly normal for the deeper water. We monitored right on high tide so this may have contributed to the higher than usual oxygen readings. Mike Linsell reported that he had never seen so many bait fish in the river so this may support our D.O. results.
Nick Wison monitored as well.
