The interesting thing about September is that the mouth has been opened manually as a bridge is being constructed further up the creek to assist people to reach the beach. Before the bridge they had to walk along the side of the creek and the edges were getting eroded and plants damaged. The creek mouth was opened manually - well by machine) for 4-5 days. It closed every high tide.
The mouth has also moved considerably to the east
