Description Hi Rose
Since receiving your email, we¿ve been down for a look at Tait Point and also to a few spots along the west bank of the river and to the bridge.
The water is cloudy and an interesting shade of green at Tait Point and at least as far downstream as the boat ramp and jetty at our EW monitoring site B2 (23W), although we didn¿t observe any scum build up. ParksVic have their warning signs at Tait Pt and at least as far downstream as our B2 site. Nevertheless, there are dozens of fisherpeople trying their luck right near the signs along the riverbank.
There are also lots of cars with boat trailers parked at 23W, so there must be lots of people out ¿boating¿. The water seems pretty clear to the naked eye at the bridge.
I¿ve taken several photos of green-coloured water and people fishing near the warning signs if you would like a selection.
Cheers
Ros
