am attaching a photo taken from the Barwon Bluff (Bp4) on Wednesday 17 July 2013 at approximately 11:10am. (According to "Willy Weather's website, low tide was 0.7m at 11:23 am). When driving across the bridge to Ocean Grove earlier that morning, I had noticed that the distance from the green marker that indicates the starboard side of the boating channel to the water's edge, seemed shorter than usual. The following week, I saw a notice on the door of the Barwon Coast Office at Barwon Heads advising that the channel was currently very shallow. Ros Gibson |
