Unusual/Extraordinary occurrence! Whilst monitoring last week an EstuaryWatcher on the surf coast came across a team of paleontologists lead by Dr Erich Fitzgerald from Museums Victoria. They were exploring prehistoric whale fossils between 12 and 28 million years old! (Credit for photo 1 is John Broomfield).
