• Water height varying from 0.69 to 0.74.
• Heavy squalls. Rain over past two days. Creek is flowing out.

Beautiful balmy morning. Carpark and overflow park busy with many surfing - some excellent breaks affording long rides.

Surface frothing observed at Mullet Creek Bridge also present at river mouth.

water level again no where near the the AHD gauge (may need to think about relocating it. It currently sits on a rocky shelf that only really has water during a flood event)

• Great Egret and Pied Cormorant on Mullet Creek.
• Creek full after recent rains. Paddocks north of Black Gate Road are flooded. 
• Creek outflow visible among surf at the river mouth.

the Point Impossible surf carnival was  on

Lee and I were there at peak low tide so the water was not touching the AHD level. Apparently there are Hooded Plovers on the estuary but Lee and I did not see any. We saw lots of seagulls.

• the height of the gauge is out of the water by about 200mm.  There was no noticeable height difference when leaving.

Recent community dug channel 0.3 - 0.5m wide x 85m long has allowed some ingress of sea water.
