Recent heavy rainfall  (G6 16/09/17 20 ml o/n)  has caused levels to rise again with water over/bank from G6 -G4. At G4 water is up on the concrete deck & over top of causeway but just starting to go over/bank immediately D/S of bridge - no flooding on flats beyond this point. Water is across OOR near flood markers but passable by 4x4. Flooding from run off (N - S flow) only

Initial flooding of OOR occurred after very heavy local rainfall. Flow across the road was only from North (runoff)

Similar conditions at Lt1 but too much drift on weighted rope / probe to monitor. Large amount of dead veg. in flow. Fish (about 10 -15 cm) trying to swim upstream  against flow

Remaining areas covered with water in the Latrobe creek area have increasing algal cover

Fresh water inflow not possible to estimate, there seem to be currents crossing downstream but pulsing going upstream. (influence of barred mouth ??) Slight N wind about 2-3
