No Water across spillway at G4, flats drained but waterlogged. Visible water only in drains & very low areas

At 2.00 m down probe started to drift up stream & downstream in response to pulsing from mouth / estuary. As the flow went upstream the E.C. rose from E.C.1.500 to 40.500 then dropped down as the probe went downstream

Channel somewhat sheltered from wind by large stand of Phragmities all along the bank. Algae on submerged veg. Large amount of seeds & small dry matter on surface

Very large tiger snake crossed channel next to probe line. One seen previously in channel  further down stream.  Small fish also previously clustered around probe

No visible water on flats either up or down stream

Platypus seen in water at Kangaroobie

Water not sampled beyond 4.50m
