Notes

Gemma Smith joined us for the observation.
There were a couple of shearwater carcases lining the beach and attracting a large group of seagulls.
A lack of southerly winds over the past two weeks has meant that the shearwater chicks have struggled to launch properly and so many have been turning up dead along the beaches and highway due to exhaustion.
