Van Dorn sampler forgotten so pH and turbidity levels not available

- No worries, easy done!  Based on the EC readings it looks like we've got a WQ profile almost entirely of seawater anyway!!  Thanks Jarred.

Great results everyone - amazing salty after an exceptional 8m swell earlier in the month!

Jarred - thanks everyone, great results which indicate a changing season!!  Great to see the return of the salt wedge, and although still very seasonally high the turbidity readings are on the way down!

Probe and Van Doorn horizontal in water because of rapid flow, so lower depths not tested or sampled.

Thanks Brad & Dina, and yes no worries regarding the flow and challenges sampling at depth.  Very well mixed profile so this alleviates any issues.  Very high turbidity remains!  Thanks Jarred.

River flowing very quickly; all samples taken with ropes at significant angulation due to flow.

High level floods upstream

High tide 20.00

Great work everyone & appreciate you making the correct call to not sampling H2 due to flooding risks.  Perfect timing regarding the flood peak on the Hopkins estuary (3am the following morning at 1.82m AHD), with a highly turbid, fresh and well mixed profile.  Amazing mouth scouring/widening too!!

Bottom pH is <9. Med- Fast flowing out to sea.

Mouth photos attached here.

Thanks Brad.  Very interesting to see quite a lot of tidal/ocean influence still pushing up the estuary, however this may disappear soon!  Great D.O. profile throughout.
